2. Use of the Website

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide for purchases is accurate. We may update or change website content without notice.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Currency: All prices are shown in GBP (£).
  • Tax: All prices include VAT.
  • Payment: Payments are processed securely by our checkout providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Errors: If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Order Process & Contract

  • Confirmation: You will receive an automated order confirmation email after placing your order.
  • Acceptance: A contract is formed when your order is dispatched.
  • Cancellations by Us: We may cancel orders due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Any payment taken will be refunded in full.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Cost: Flat rate of £12.00 (Inc. VAT) on all UK orders.
  • Times: Handling time is 0–1 business day; transit time is 3–4 business days (3–5 business days in total).
  • Carriers: DHL, FedEx, Evri, and UPS. Delivery dates are estimates.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We comply with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • Returns: You have 30 days from delivery to return an item in new condition.
  • Return Shipping: Customers pay the actual cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns. We cover return costs for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
  • Refunds: Approved refunds are processed within 2 business days.
  • Exchanges: Accepted for both defective and non-defective items (non-defective items must be in new condition).

7. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Limitation of Liability

Stairs Safety is not liable for business losses, loss of profit, or damage caused by incorrect installation or misuse of our products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the goods. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, logos, and text, is the property of Mafson Ltd. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
